Bassam KYRILLOS

Lebanese artist, born in Byblos 1971, living beetwen Paris & Beyrouth.

. He started sculptures from his childhood, later he made his first personal exhibition at 19 years old at the university of the high spirit kaslik. After finishing  his studies in plastic art, he exhibited in Beirut, Moscow, Paris, Rome, Athenes...

His work is based on the idea of incarnation that`s why he made a face for the stone and also bodies for the earth. He works on paintings and monumental sculptures using mixed medium ( stone, metal...) and teaches at the university of Beirut. He has many projects executed in different public spaces.
